Description
It is the season of plenty in the Great Cycle. The Avatar of Summer sits, hands resting on her sword, surveying her the fields and the trees and all the animals frolicking among them.
She never understood why she had to carry a sword. Unlike her sister Seasons, this was the time of plenty. There was no competition for food or mates, that would come later. And yet, she carried a weapon.
She frowned at it thoughtfully. There was the old saying about turning it into a plowshare. She would watch over her charges and with for her sister Autumn to take over.
